Experience the Highest Peaks of North Africa with a Professional Atlas Mountains Guide Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal Refuge (3207m) Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech and a scenic drive to Imlil Valley (1740m), the starting point of your trek (approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, you will meet your local guide and have a short break. Here, you can rent any equipment you may need, including trekking clothes, shoes, or poles – everything is available locally. The hike then begins toward Toubkal Refuge (3207m), passing through the charming village of Aremd and the sacred Sidi Chamharouch shrine. Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your cook along the way. After lunch, continue your ascent to the refuge, where you will spend the night. The day involves approximately 5–6 hours of hiking with breathtaking mountain views.Day 2: Toubkal Summit (4167m) – Return to Refuge Start early after breakfast for the ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak. The climb takes roughly 3 hours, rewarding you with incredible panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Capture unforgettable photos and soak in the scenery before descending back to the refuge (approx. 2–3 hours). Lunch will be served at the refuge, where you will spend your second night, sharing stories of your summit experience under the starry Atlas sky.Day 3: Ankrim Summit – Imlil – Marrakech After an early breakfast (around 4:00–4:30 am), begin the trek to Ankrim Summit. The ascent takes approximately 3–4 hours, offering stunning vistas and perfect photo opportunities. After reaching the summit, enjoy a short rest before descending back to Toubkal Refuge for lunch. Following lunch, continue the hike down to Imlil (approx. 3–4 hours), where your driver will meet you and transfer you back to Marrakech.
