2-Day Trek to Mount Toubkal Summit

Service Description

Day 1: Trek to Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) On the first day, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech and driven to Imlil Valley (1,740m), the starting point of the trek. The drive from Marrakech to Imlil takes approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Imlil, you will meet your local guide and take a short break to prepare. You can also rent any necessary gear, such as suitable clothing and footwear. Then, you will begin your hike towards Toubkal Refuge, passing through the village of Aroumd and the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, where you will stop for a freshly prepared lunch. After the lunch break, you will continue your ascent towards the refuge, where you will spend the night in preparation for the summit climb the next day. This stage of the trek takes approximately 5 to 6 hours of hiking. Day 2: Summit Mount Toubkal (4,167m) & Return to Marrakech Early in the morning, you will have breakfast at the refuge before starting the ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), which takes about 3 hours. Upon reaching the peak, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and the surrounding landscapes. You’ll have time to take photos and soak in the stunning scenery. After spending time at the summit, you will begin the descent, which takes approximately 2 to 3 hours to reach the refuge again. After a short break with a cup of tea, you will continue the trek down towards Imlil. At Sidi Chamharouch, you will stop for lunch before resuming your hike back to Imlil. Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech, marking the end of your unforgettable two-day adventure to Mount Toubkal. This includes: • Transport from Marrakech to Imlil and back • One night at the refuge with all meals • A guide with you for two days
